It isn't often that we shoot a wedding with people we haven't met. Glen called us last year from Minnesota, where he and Sarah live, to tell us about his plans for a Canmore wedding. We love shooting in the mountains, so we jumped at the opportunity!

We ended up meeting Glen just moments before the ceremony began, but he is one of those people that makes you feel immediately at ease. When we met Sarah, we found that she was the exact same - what a great match!

To make things even better, it turned out to be a beautiful day - the temperature hit a balmy 8 degrees! I'm sure no one thought that a February wedding in Canmore could be so mild.

Glen and Sarah are ski buffs, and one of the questions Glen asked me when we first talked was whether we'd be willing to shoot a few shots of the two of them skiing together. We thought that was a fantastic idea, so we got up bright and early the next morning to head to Sunshine Village. I had approached Sunshine earlier to make sure that it was ok for us to take pictures on the hill. When they heard about our plan, they were excited for us and so incredibly accommodating!

Sarah, we still can't believe that you were willing to board down the mountain in your wedding dress and leave your jacket with us for the sake of great photos. Although it may have been warmer than usual at the bottom of the mountain it was NOT at the top. You are amazing!

We had a great time frolicking in the snow! What a unique way to tell the world about your marriage.

Glen and Sarah,
It was an absolute pleasure getting to know you, and we wish you all the best in your future together!
